#64 - Far From the Truth

Nope. I have not arrived at some French rural town.
This French-themed town is located at Bukit Tinggi.
The destination was part of my 4-Summit Ride.
A very disappointed summit ride - there was not much curves and twists and the town was quite small and a night's stay was very pricey. I was quoted RM$300 for a room at the basement at that (???) and so I gave it a miss.

On hindsight, it was actually built to cater for honeymooners and not for the free-spirited lonely tourer that I was.

#63 - Desolation

at some ancient ruin at Ahmadebad, India

#62 - Midas Touch

The throne room.

#61- Natural Lighting

Mehrangargh Fort.

#60 - Stone Fortress

Mehrangargh Fort.
All the fine details were carved of stone save the wooden windows. Amazing.

#57 - Door to Love

#56 - Cotton Clouds

Something drew me to look up and the most fascinating cloud formation was in the sky. Took the shot and today I realised that such photos belong to a genre called Cloudscape photography.
I think I'll pay more attention to the skies from now onwards.

#54 - Window of Time

view from one of the windows at the Hawa Mahal.
Hawa Mahal (Hindi: हवा महल, translation: Palace of Winds), forms part of the City Palace and extends the Zenana or women's chambers, the chambers of the harem. Its original intention was to allow royal ladies to observe everyday life in the street below without being seen.

#52 - Sunset at Kamala Beach II

Using a tele-zoom approach.

Hawa Mahal, India.

#49 - Snake Charmer

Finally got to see a real snake charmer :)
And yes, the cobra has been defanged and although I was 'encouraged' to touch the poor 'vulnerable' snake, the snake was still fiesty and tried to bit anyone close to it with its imaginary fangs.

#44 - Lucky Charm

In Thailand, boatmen hang colourful wreathes at the bow of the ship for luck.
Photo taken in Yongkasem bay, a short kayak trip from Loh Dalam Beach on Phi Phi Don Island.
Took this shot on Monkey Island somewhere near Phi Phi Don as the island is only accessible by boat.

#40 - Taj at Dawn

One less known fact about the Taj Mahal is that it does change colour depending on the time of day.

I was one of the first visitor that day and as the sun rose, the Taj Mahal irradiates an orange hue that is almost surreal from afar. Simply beautiful.

#38 - The Blue City

The blue city of Jodphur. Shot this from high above at Mehrangargh Fort. The funny part was that we can't see why the blue city was blue until we got way up high.

#33 - Leave Nothing But Footprints

photo taken from my 4-Summit Ride.
Fraser Hill is a quiet hill retreat. The loops and curves from its base to summit is a 3/5 star rating for a bike tourer like myself.

#32 - Gateway

Another fort in India.
The focus here is using natural framing.
