Wanted to capture the sunrise but was met with an approaching storm. Lightning danced in the sky and I decided to capture one of nature's best performances.

#37 - It's A Long, Long Road

My 3NT South-North-South Coast to Coast Ride.

Riding with the sun setting on my back enroute to Chiang Mai, Thailand. It was one of the loneliest road I've ever rode on. Stopped my bike and took this shot as the light gets dimmer but I knew I can't miss the sunset shot.

It was a scary but exciting feeling knowing I was alone and thousands of miles from home and I was really in the middle of nowhere. And the whatever light there was was diminishing by the seconds and my surroundings was slowly enveloped by the darkness.

#27 - Mossy Forest

The Mossy Forest of Gunung Irau. Best remembered for the surreal mossy, obstacle-course like forest, the almost-got-lost moment and the near death-by-thirst incident (didn't pack enough supplies). I was on my way to summit a mountain.

Conquered Gunung Irau ( 2110m ) - the ninth highest in Peninsula Malaysia on 10th Aug 2007. My first experience in climbing a tropical mountain as I've only rode up mountains thus far (Doi Ithanon, Genting Highlands and Mount Brinchang) :)

Time Start: 0912hrs

Arrival at Base Camp: 1730hrs

#16 - Race the Sun

Photography has a different meaning to everyone. When I first picked up the cam, I have this compulsion to chase after the sunrise/sunset.

This was taken at Sentosa sometime around 6pm. A word of caution - never shoot at the sun directly as it can damage the sensor of the camera.
